Dean Russell has been helping entrepreneurs and business leaders increase their profitability for over twenty years. He started his business life sweeping floors at his family-owned business. He traded in his broom for an opportunity to serve in the United States Air Force. Years with the military proved to him that the best officers used accountability and operating systems that got results.

Taking over the family business with his sister, they grew from one to seven stores and sold at a profit 10 years later. That experience reinforced his belief that the business owner/s/leaders need an operating system that keeps things real, simple, and results- focused.

Working on staff with two employer associations he spent years helping business owners use business analysis tools to troubleshoot company problems. He did this through auditing, trouble shooting and solving the issues. Or as he says, the fishbone needs a backbone.

He has worked with companies such as Delta Airlines, Volvo Equipment, Medtronic, Honeywell, Polaris, Zeus industries, and Aeroflow. He has worked with Fortune 100 to small mom-and-pop companies.

He is a former Toastmaster Regional Contest winner and Stephen Covey Northstar winner for outstanding facilitation.

Dean has spoken as a national keynote speaker on the topics of strategic planning, conflict management, generational differences, motivation, and project management.

He is a former Chief Operating Officer for a wealth management firm and a Quality Director with a medical device company and he has years of implementing ISO 9001, Six Sigma, Lean methodologies (kaizen, gemba) and Shingo quality systems.

He is bi-lingual in speaking HR and Operations and takes good companies into great companies.

Today, as an EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) Implementer, Dean spends his time helping entrepreneurial leadership teams to implement the tools of The Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS).   He compliments EOS with being a certified facilitator in both Process Triage & Process Optimizer that maps company processes, identify pain points, prioritize the actions to fix the pain, all in a one-day fast-paced session.

Currently when not doing his EOS he works as an executive coach helping business His tools are Kolbe, MBTI, Strength Finders, and DISC psychological assessments.
